Gina McCurdy

My name is Gina McCurdy and I am the Assistant to the Children's Ministry Director.

I have been a member of Saint Paul's Church since 1977, when my father was assigned here to be the Associate Pastor. Over the years, I have volunteered in many different roles including, youth counselor, Education Chairperson, as well as, serving on various other committees within our church.  Saint Paul's has been the place where I have nurtured and grown my faith, met my husband, raised our three sons, and formed lifelong friendships.

My husband, Jim, and I raised our three boys in Elizabethtown. We treasure our memories of them growing up in this town and participating in many of Saint Paul's activities and programs. They are now grown adults with families of their own and starting a new generation of little ones. We welcomed our first  granddaughter in June!

Teaching was my profession for 32 years and I loved every minute of it!  I taught elementary aged children from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. Everyday was a new adventure of learning, not only for my students, but for me as well.  It was a joy to watch their faces when they learned something new and to watch the young ones dream and believe that anything was possible.  This position at Saint Paul's fills my passion for kids and my belief that all children deserve to be loved and nurtured in the word of God.

As the Assistant to the Children's Ministry Director, I will help to provide vibrant programming and activities that reflect the love of Christ from birth to 6th grade. My focus is our JAM (Jesus and Me) Program that works with 4-6th grade students.  Our JAM program helps to develop an understanding of God's love and strength, to nurture an individual relationship with God and to empower our young ones to serve God and others in our community.

I look forward to meeting and working with you and your families!
